Operations Support

Asset Operations, Management and Duty Holder Services

Operations and maintenance, asset management and regulated operator services for offshore, onshore and renewable energy infrastructure, covering operational readiness and asset transition through to production, late life and decommissioning.

From operational advice to accountable asset management

With Duty Holder responsibility across six North Sea assets, THREE60 is one of the UK’s largest independent outsourced Duty Holders.

THREE60 Operations helps asset owners, licence holders, investors and operators manage complex energy infrastructure safely, compliantly and economically.

Our support ranges from independent O&M consultancy and operational readiness through to integrated O&M delivery, asset management and outsourced Duty Holder models.

We bring together operations, maintenance, integrity, HSEQ, technical authority, emergency response, supply chain and transition management within clearly defined lines of responsibility.

Supporting Complex Assets Through Operation and Change

01

Independent Consultancy and Assurance

Focused support for a specific decision, risk or performance challenge. This includes independent reviews, operational audits, technical due diligence, readiness assurance, OPEX and ABEX benchmarking, maintenance assessments, late-life strategy and decommissioning advisory.

02

Specialist and Embedded Support

Experienced personnel can strengthen an existing client team or provide specialist capability where it is needed. Support can include technical authorities, operational personnel, maintenance and integrity specialists, HSEQ, supply chain, project controls and offshore representation.

03

Integrated and Operational Maintenance

We can manage defined O&M scopes through an integrated service provider or outsourced delivery model. Depending on the requirement, this can include the onshore and offshore organisation, maintenance and integrity management, planning and scheduling, logistics, contractor management, campaign execution and operational performance.

04

Asset Management and Duty Holder

Where the client needs to transfer greater responsibility, THREE60 can provide an asset-management or outsourced Duty Holder model supported by our management systems, operating organisation and technical assurance capability. This can include Installation Operator, Pipeline Operator and, through our Wells service line, Well Operator responsibilities.

Our Capabilities

Comprehensive Operational Support

Depending on the needs of our customers, we can assume defined operator responsibilities, provide a complete operating organisation or strengthen an existing team with focused operational expertise.

01 Asset Transition and Operational Readiness

01

Asset Transition and Operational Readiness

We plan and manage the transfer of operational responsibility between owners, operators and service providers.

Our phased approach covers scope definition, due diligence, Safety Case and management-system changes, organisational design, resource and competence planning, information transfer, transition governance and day-one operational-control readiness.

For new or modified facilities, we support operability and maintainability reviews, procedure development, commissioning, start-up planning, spares, competence and readiness assurance.

02 Operations and Maintenance Delivery

02

Operations and Maintenance Delivery

We provide the people, systems and management needed to operate and maintain offshore and onshore assets.

Scopes can include onshore and offshore operations management, production support, maintenance execution, planning and scheduling, campaign management, shutdown support, logistics, materials, contractor management and work close-out.

Delivery can use the client’s systems and processes or an agreed THREE60 operating framework.

03 Maintenance, Integrity and Reliability

03

Maintenance, Integrity and Reliability

Maintenance should reflect equipment criticality, asset condition, operating risk and remaining life - not simply repeat historic routines.

We develop and optimise maintenance and integrity strategies using preventive, risk-based and condition-based approaches. Our work includes CMMS builds and reviews, performance standards, planned maintenance routines, failure-mode analysis, critical-spares assessment, inspection planning and investigation of production losses or equipment unreliability.

04 Operations Consultancy and Performance Improvement

04

Operations Consultancy and Performance Improvement

We help clients understand how an asset, facility or portfolio is performing and where intervention will create meaningful value.

Our teams undertake O&M audits, technical and acquisition due diligence, operating-model reviews, cost and organisation benchmarking, facilities and maintenance reviews, production-efficiency studies and late-life economic assessments.

Recommendations are grounded in practical operating experience and developed into prioritised actions rather than left as high-level observations.

05 Late Life Operations and Decommissioning Readiness

05

Late Life Operations and Decommissioning Readiness

We align the operating strategy with the asset’s changing risk, production profile and decommissioning plan.

This can include Cessation of Production strategy, maintenance rationalisation, reduced-manning or campaign-based models, lighthouse-mode preparation, engineering down and clean, regulatory support, project planning and the management of interfaces between operations, wells, subsea and removal contractors.

06 Renewable Operations and Electrical Services

06

Renewable Operations and Electrical Services

For renewable assets, we provide turbine and substation O&M, high-voltage switching, electrical maintenance, grid-connection support and repowering services.

We support owners, developers and asset managers with routine operations, fault response, planned maintenance and targeted improvements intended to protect availability and extend asset life.

How we operate

Transitioning Assets and Realising Value

An asset transition is not simply a transfer of documents and personnel. Management systems, regulatory responsibilities, competence, emergency arrangements, technical information and operating interfaces must all be ready at the point operational control changes.

Our transition model moves from initial scoping and due diligence through detailed planning, execution and day-one readiness. Following transition, we can implement an agreed transformation plan to improve the operating model, reduce unnecessary cost and prepare the asset for its next phase.

This experience is particularly valuable when assets change ownership, move into late life, cease production or enter a multi-year decommissioning programme.

Accountable Operator Services

Not every client needs to transfer operational responsibility. When it does, THREE60 has the people, management systems and delivery experience required to assume clearly defined operator roles. This is provided on a flexible and scalable basis that is tailored to a customers needs or challenge.

01

Installation Operator and Duty Holder

Where appointed as Installation Operator, we assume responsibility for implementing the accepted Safety Case and managing health, safety and environmental performance, installation integrity, facilities management, emergency response and the day-to-day operation of the installation.

02

Pipeline Operator

We can assume responsibility for pipeline operations, integrity management, emergency arrangements and the safe control of fluid conveyance within the agreed regulatory framework.

03

Well Operator

Well Operator and well-management services are provided through THREE60 Wells, enabling well responsibility to be coordinated with the installation, pipeline and wider asset operating model where required.

These roles can be provided individually or as part of a wider service-operator model. Responsibilities, retained client obligations and decision rights are agreed clearly from the outset.

Why THREE60?

Connected Expertise Across THREE60 Energy

Operations can be engaged as a standalone service. Where an asset requires wider support, we can connect our operating capability with THREE60 Energy’s Subsurface, Wells, Subsea, EPCC and Product Solutions teams.

This gives clients access to production, wells, pipelines, subsea infrastructure, facilities engineering, modifications, construction and specialist equipment through one relationship - while retaining clear accountability for each scope.
