This can include removal studies, engineering and procedures, offshore management, waste and materials planning, environmental and seabed survey support, technical records and project close-out.

Effective well abandonment begins with understanding what must be isolated and why.

Our Subsurface specialists review reservoir and geological information, well histories, pressure data, potential flow paths and isolation requirements to establish the technical basis for well-decommissioning decisions.

Support can include well mapping, inflow-zone identification, crossflow assessment, subsurface risk evaluation and development of the Subsurface Basis of Design.

We support permanent abandonment from early strategy and liability assessment through detailed engineering, procurement, offshore execution and regulatory close-out.

Our capability includes well categorisation, integrity and barrier assessment, abandonment methodology, time and cost estimation, rig and rigless evaluation, programme development, contracting, regulatory submissions and campaign management.

Experience covers platform, subsea, land, suspended, late-life and HPHT wells across multiple regulatory jurisdictions. Where required, THREE60 can also assume the Well Operator role.

We provide technical definition, engineering and execution support for the decommissioning of pipelines, risers, umbilicals, structures, controls and associated subsea infrastructure.

Services can include option and recovery studies, inspection and condition assessment, flushing and pigging strategies, disconnection and lifting studies, cost and schedule development, contractor selection, permits and consents input, offshore technical representation, recovery, remediation and close-out.

Our understanding of subsea operations and asset integrity helps clients develop a scope that reflects the actual condition and configuration of the infrastructure.

Our EPCC teams provide the engineering and project support required to take facilities from production through shutdown, isolation, cleaning and preparation for removal.

Capability can include systems assessment, engineering down and clean, isolation strategies, temporary utilities, structural and lifting engineering, electrical and instrumentation modifications, hazardous-material considerations, constructability, workpack development and offshore execution support.

We coordinate requirements with the operating team so that essential systems remain available for as long as they are needed - and are removed or replaced at the appropriate point in the programme.
