Transitioning Heather to an Integrated Services Partner Model

THREE60 Energy worked with EnQuest to develop an Integrated Services Partner (ISP) approach that would provide the people and expertise required to manage the asset while allowing EnQuest to retain Duty Holder responsibility.

Following Cessation of Production, EnQuest required a delivery model to support the Heather platform through its late-life and decommissioning phase. THREE60 Energy worked with EnQuest to develop an Integrated Services Partner (ISP) approach that would provide the people and expertise required to manage the asset while allowing EnQuest to retain Duty Holder responsibility.

The model was designed around EnQuest’s existing systems and processes, providing continuity while establishing a dedicated THREE60 team to support the asset.

Challenge

Initial discussions considered transferring Heather to a Duty Holder model, before EnQuest decided to retain this responsibility.

THREE60 therefore needed to develop an alternative approach that could provide an integrated asset team and assume operational control while working effectively within EnQuest’s established governance, systems and processes.

Solution

THREE60 developed an Integrated Services Partner model under which the asset organisation, with the exception of the Asset Manager, would be provided by THREE60 Energy.

Working closely with EnQuest, the team established the organisational structure, responsibilities and interfaces required to transition operational control while maintaining EnQuest as Duty Holder.

Result

EnQuest appointed THREE60 Energy as its Integrated Services Partner for Heather, with the formal transition commencing on 3 July 2023.

Operational control was successfully handed over to THREE60 on 1 August 2023, establishing the integrated delivery model to support Heather through its next phase.

Scan2Fab on Bumi Armada's Kraken FPSO

Working with Bumi Armada, THREE60 Energy deployed its Scan2Fab process to provide an efficient, end-to-end solution from offshore survey through to fabrication. Combining high-accuracy 3D laser scanning with engineering and fabrication expertise, the approach captures accurate as-built data, reduces the need for repeat site visits and enables components to be designed and manufactured with confidence. The result is a streamlined workflow that helps reduce interfaces, minimise offshore activity and support safe, efficient project delivery.
