Challenge
Having been awarded a significant number areas within the plant development (Tools) for completion of engineering and design, the customer contacted THREE60 with a request for additional support to their design team to assist in the production of clean room isometrics to meet an aggressive design and fabrication delivery schedule for an Intel microchip production plant based in Ireland.
Solution
THREE60 were able to provide a dedicated team of up to 10 designers to support the incumbent contractor. Whilst working remotely,THREE60 worked on discrete areas of the plant to complete the work. Nominated model reviews were completed at regular Intervals to ensure any areas of concern i.e. interface locations between Tools were seamlessly managed and controlled to meet client expectations.
Result
The combined efforts of the incumbent/THREE60 design team delivered all engineering deliverables to plan, aligned with client expectations and fabrication and build schedules.
