Solution
THREE60 designed and supplied the 5,400-tonne capacity turntable alongside a modular loading tower assembly comprising a loading arm, inboard chute, tensioner and control cabin.
To support smooth and controlled cable handling, the system incorporated an integral five-tonne tensioner and a 10-tonne deck tensioner, creating an integrated solution for cable storage, loading and deployment.
Result
The completed system provided Jan De Nul with an integrated, high-capacity cable handling solution for offshore wind installation.
With 5,400 tonnes of storage capacity and dedicated loading and tensioning equipment, the system brought together the functionality required to support controlled cable handling and deployment from the Willem de Vlamingh.
