The client required experienced geophysical and geotechnical expertise to support an extensive programme of site investigations. The scope covered both drilling site surveys and geotechnical soil-boring operations, requiring careful planning, coordination and technical oversight to ensure the work was completed safely, efficiently and in line with the project’s technical requirements.
Solution
THREE60 provided its Geophysical Manager and Geotechnical Managers to support the project from the initial planning stages through to offshore execution.
Working closely with the client and multiple specialist survey contractors, the THREE60 team reviewed project execution plans and technical specifications, optimised the proposed survey grid design and helped coordinate the geophysical and geotechnical scopes. This ensured the planned investigations would generate the high-quality data required to support future project decisions.
During the offshore phase, THREE60 also supplied experienced quality control representatives to supervise the survey and soil-boring activities. The representatives monitored performance, verified compliance with the agreed scope of work and provided technical guidance throughout the offshore campaign.
