Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a precision engineering environment
- Ability to use conventional measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, height gauges)
- Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
- Ability to inspect components using 3D models and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of quality standards, ideally within AS9100 environments
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting machined components to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
- Performing first-off, in-process, and final inspections
- Operating CMM equipment using 3D models for accurate measurement and reporting
- Completing inspection documentation and maintaining quality records
- Identifying non-conformances and supporting corrective actions
- Working closely with production to maintain high-quality output
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or defence sectors
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
