THREE60 Energy and Copenhagen Offshore Partners sign Global Collaboration Agreement

THREE60 Energy Group | June 22nd, 2022

THREE60 Energy have signed a non-exclusive Global Collaboration Agreement (GCA) with Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) who on offshore wind projects are leading the development management and construction management on behalf of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). This will lead to THREE60 Energy personnel delivering client representative services during the acquisition of geophysical, geotechnical, and geological surveys in the development phases of floating and fixed offshore wind farms that CIP has in development.

The contract will run until the end of 2027, with a one-year option to extend, and will see THREE60 Energy assure the quality of COP’s data acquisition requirements furthering the company’s footprint in the expanding wind sector.

THREE60 Energy has extensive credentials in this field, having supported in excess of 100 international wind projects. Over the past four years the Marine Operations and Geoscience team has delivered more than 4,000 incident-free man days of quality assurance, control and client representative services in support of global offshore wind farm developments.

Walter Thain, CEO at THREE60 Energy said:As we continue to expand further into the offshore wind sector, we are pleased to be working with COP, an industry leader, to further our joint ambition of enabling a fair transition to cleaner energy resources.

Our recent ‘granted’ status after completing the Fit 4 Offshore Renewables programme is testament to our commitment to continually grow and enhance our strategic and developing integrated services offering across the offshore wind farm project lifecycle.

As the offshore wind industry develops the supply chain, we are committed to continuously developing our own integrated service capability for both COP’s and industry benefit. Our collaboration with COP provides mutual benefit, value and a platform for further strategic development opportunities.

We look forward to working with COP over the coming years, so that we can all deliver better energy together.
