Role Overview

Work as part of a multi-disciplined technical engineering focal point within the THREE60 EPCC business unit. Responsible for technical generation of mechanical engineering deliverables in support of the Lead Engineer.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Act as a discipline focal point for area of responsibility
  2. Maintain the required technical quality of work
  3. Ensure scope and schedule changes are controlled in accordance with the Change Control Process
  4. Ensure planning and cost control on responsible scope is maintained
  5. Identify potential resource requirements to the Lead Engineer
  6. Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and procedures
  7. Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel
  8. Ensure, as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule
  9. Keep up-to-date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to the discipline scope
  10. Review and approve work output of discipline assigned personnel
  11. Maintain good communication with the Client
  12. Visit the Assets specific to scope when necessary
  13. Assist the Lead Engineer when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties
  14. Ensure discipline filing system for area of responsibility is maintained
  15. Encourage and provide lateral learning within the Project
  16. Be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance
