Role Overview

Due to the continued growth within the THREE60 ENERGY GROUP, an opportunity has arisen to join our team as Senior Commercial Coordinator.

To provide commercial and financial support to contracts by proactive and robust co-ordination of all project costs, their forecasts, monitoring, reporting and billing. Support the Finance team in developing, improving and implementing processes, procedures and good practices which deliver commercial and contractual excellence and legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Provide guidance and advisory support to management and contract owners on the interpretation and enforcement of commercial and contractual obligations
  2. Ensure contracts are communicated and understood and monitor their effectiveness in supporting the business objectives
  3. Support contract owners with ongoing and regular commercial analysis and information relating to the financial performance of contracts
  4. Undertake periodic reviews and support the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and forecasts and ensure commercial risks are understood and mitigated and opportunities are realised
  5. Preparation of monthly cost reports and customer monthly invoice with respect to processing of third-party invoices and other back-up documents in line with contract requirements in a timely and accurate manner
  6. Perform quality check on all invoices received and address any irregularity as per agreed workflow(s)
  7. Interface with customer portals, assist with the management of debtors and credit control and ensure issues are addressed and cash collection is expedited and maximised
  8. Prepare rates for annual rate review process and contract variations
  9. Provide commercial knowledge and expertise to support tenders, due diligence and business development activities
  10. Support internal and customer audits
  11. Support the purchasing process such as PO placement and CTR’s
  12. Support the Finance team and contract owners with adhoc projects as required
  13. Other duties as assigned which may be reasonably expected within the scope of the role

Knowledge & Qualifications

  1. Formal qualification at a minimum of HND level in a relevant Accountancy, Business qualification or similar (desirable)
  2. Strong commercial and contract acumen
  3. Project Management qualification (desirable)
  4. Experience of working in the Energy Sector
  5. Experience of using Financial systems
  6. Knowledge and ability to apply the broad principles of contract law to contracts and business proposals
  7. Ability to operate and influence at senior levels of the business

Skills & Experience

  1. Experience supporting audits
  2. Ability and commitment to complete tasks within set deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  3. Proven experience of working in a Commercial role supporting operational businesses
  4. Ability to influence others to provide inputs to allow efficient budgeting and reporting of results and forecasts
  5. Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  6. Ability to operate effectively with minimum supervision
  7. Strong excel skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data and convert into management information
  8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
