Main Purpose of the Role

Assists in the efficient delivery of Flexlife technical capabilities.  This includes integrity assessment and OrcaFlex analysis of flexible pipes 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Provide input for project execution, delivery and integrity management.
2. Provide input on technical calculations and queries.
3. Conduct OrcaFlex analysis and calculations.
4. Contribute towards proposal preparation.
5. Prepare study reports / technical notes of work performed.
6. Project management of assigned projects in line with company procedure.
7. In addition, you will carry out any other duties that reasonably and naturally fall within your role and which the Company deems you to be competent to undertake.

Knowledge & Qualifications

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar), (essential) [ ◉ ]

Skills & Experience

1. At least two years of experience with OrcaFlex analyses of flexible risers, rigid risers or offshore wind power cables, (essential) [ ◉ ]
2. Strong written and oral communications, (essential) [ ◉ ]
3. Highly effective team player, (essential) [ ◉ ]
4. Strong analytical background, (essential) [ ◉ ]
5. Strong report writing skills, (essential) [ ◉ ]

STATUS CODES:

1. Essential requirement that must be met before a candidate is appointed unless approved by the Principal Engineer [ ◉ ]
2. Desirable requirement. Candidate may be appointed, with discretion, without full achievement of criterion but the indicated competence should be developed.  [ ◉ ]
