Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Responsible for all members of the Construction & Commissioning Department for onshore (office-based), offshore & site-based locations.

Basic Purpose of Role:

To lead the Construction & Commissioning Department within THREE60’s integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) division. Represent THREE60 Energy to the highest standards with customers, regulatory bodies and all stakeholders.

Main Duties:

Accountable for all construction & commissioning scopes being planned, controlled and executed to the highest safety and quality standards while adhering to cost and schedule targets. Customer focused.

Key Duties & Accountabilities

  1. Provide construction and commissioning direction and leadership to the safe delivery of THREE60’s growth and development strategy, supporting the delivery of construction, commissioning, campaign and shutdown delivery
  2. Develop and deliver the construction and commissioning strategy within an integrated EPCC organisation
  3. Ensure that construction & commissioning aspects of management system, including safety, environment and quality, are robust, compliant with regulations and legislation, and support current activities and future growth
  4. Lead and develop the construction and commissioning team, ensure competency & training requirements are met, assist in the performance of their duties
  5. Actively pursue new opportunities as standalone construction & commissioning scopes or part of integrated EPCC within the energy industry, support the Business Development director
  6. Build strong relationships with customers’ construction, facilities, and project teams. Develop and maintain good cross-industry relationships with trade, training, and regulatory bodies
  7. Form a close working relationship with EPCC leadership team, group CEO, and other senior executives and non-executives
  8. Work closely with all organisations within THREE60 Energy group

Knowledge & Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of requirements to ensure safe construction delivery in the oil and gas and wider energy industry, preferably in both onshore and offshore environments
  2. Understanding of commissioning principles and how construction strategy can be influenced by commissioning requirements
  3. Understanding of project management & controls fundamentals, including estimating, progress, change management, reporting
  4. Valid BOSIET or willing to take required training

Skills & Experience

  1. Extensive construction Management experience for oil & gas brownfield modifications and projects
  2. Leading  and recruiting high performing teams
  3. Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  4. Leading a construction & commissioning team while also being part of a wider engineering & construction organisation
  5. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  6. Ability to be responsive and open to changing circumstances
  7. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Strong attention to detail
  9. Good organisational skills
  10. Ability and commitment to complete tasks within set deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
