Job Purpose

Plan fit-for-purpose completion designs and select appropriate completion equipment for relevant projects. Establish strong collaboration with subsurface, projects and service providers. Help develop and maintain our positive culture and the way we work.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Perform subsea and platform completion engineering technical work, such as:
  2. Plan and select well concept and well / completion design
  3. Perform detailed tubing design using relevant software (WellCat/Oliasoft)
  4. Completion fluid and packer fluid selection
  5. Time and cost estimation
  6. Detailed understanding of well barriers at all stages of the operation
  7. Plan and detail well barriers for given operations
  8. Qualification of new and existing completion equipment for the given applications
  9. Understanding of completion material selection for the given well properties
  10. Give thoughts of future P&A in the completion design
  11. Temporary abandonment planning
  12. Topside interface planning
  13. Well clean-up planning
  14. Interventions planning
  15. Plan for Development and Operation
  16. Risks, opportunities, and economic impact evaluations

Qualifications & Experience

  1. BSc/MSc engineering/science
  2. Proven and relevant completion experience
  3. Experience from planning and execution of a variety of wells/fields
  4. Experience with completion software packages i.e. WellCat, Torque and Drag and Buckling software
  5. Experience with input to follow-up studies and testing
  6. Valid OGUK Medical, BOSIET & MIST
