Main Purpose of the Role

Due to ongoing growth and expansion within THREE60 we are currently seeking to employ a Commercial Coordinator, to join our team in Aberdeen. To provide commercial and financial support to contracts by providing proactive and robust co-ordination of all project costs, their forecasts, monitoring, reporting and budgeting. Support the Finance team in developing, improving and implementing month end processes, procedures and good practices which deliver commercial and contractual excellence and legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Provide guidance and advisory support to management and contract owners on the interpretation and enforcement of commercial and contractual obligations.
  2. Ensure contracts are communicated and understood and monitor their effectiveness in supporting the business objectives.
  3. Support contract owners with ongoing and regular commercial analysis and information relating to the financial performance of contracts.
  4. Undertake periodic reviews and support the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and forecasts and ensure commercial risks are understood and mitigated and opportunities are realised.
  5. Prepare rates for the annual rate review process and contract variations.
  6. Provide commercial knowledge and expertise to support tenders, due diligence and business development activities.
  7. Support internal and customer audits.
  8. Support the Finance team and contract owners with adhoc projects as required.
  9. Other duties as assigned which may be reasonably expected within the scope of the role.
  10. Ensure that all work is carried out safely in compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Qualifications

  1. Formal qualification at a minimum of HND level in a relevant Accountancy, Business qualification or similar (desirable). [ ]
  2. Strong commercial and contract acumen (essential). [ ◉ ]
  3. Project Management qualification (desirable). [ ]
  4. Knowledge of working in the Energy Sector (preferable). [ ]
  5. Experience of using Financial systems (essential). [ ]
  6. Knowledge and ability to apply the broad principles of contract law to contracts and business proposals (essential). [ ◉ ]
  7. Ability to operate and influence at senior levels of the business (essential). [ ]

Skills & Experience

  1. Experience supporting audits (preferable). [ ]
  2. Ability and commitment to complete tasks within set deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude (essential). [ ◉ ]
  3. Proven experience of working in a Commercial role supporting businesses across multiple entities and service lines, including the coordination of intercompany trading (preferable). [ ]
  4. Ability to influence others to provide inputs to allow efficient budgeting and reporting of results and forecasts (essential). [ ◉ ]
  5. Excellent analytical and reporting skills (essential). [ ◉ ]
  6. Ability to operate effectively with minimum supervision (essential). [ ◉ ]
  7. Strong excel skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data and convert into management information (essential). [ ◉ ]
  8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships (essential). [ ◉ ]

STATUS CODES:

  1. Essential requirement that must be met before a candidate is appointed unless approved by the Business Services Manager [ ◉ ]
