Company Overview

THREE60 Energy is a fast-developing energy services group whose aim is to deliver a more complete solution for owners, developers and operators of energy assets. Its strategy is to build a portfolio of oilfield services operating across the entire asset life cycle within the oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore. THREE60 has already acquired both capability and leadership across different geographies in Reservoir Engineering, Well Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Construction & Commissioning and Operations & Maintenance.

Job Purpose

To develop growth strategies and execute growth plans as part of the THREE60 Operations management team. Increase the THREE60 client base and maximise existing relationships. Have an in-depth knowledge of our business services and value proposition. Deliver overall growth objectives.

The management and execution of business development activities to support the growth of the company. Duties will be primarily within THREE60 Operations, supporting Business Development activity locally within the UKCS market, as well as internationally. The scope of the role will also include supporting greater THREE60 Energy service lines and their expansion of scope and services to other key geographies. Key client accounts may also form part of the development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Develop growth strategies as part of the management team and developing detailed plans to execute.
  2. Develop Business Development plans for existing clients and targeted new clients with THREE60 client account / contract managers.
  3. Continuously promote THREE60 Engineering, Construction & Operations offering through ‘face to face’ pitches and other forms of client engagement.
  4. Bring opportunities to the business to further develop into technical and commercial proposals.
  5. Provide input and coordinate of major proposals, ensuring a ‘win strategy’ is executed during the bidding process.
  6. Research and collate data relevant to growth plans regarding client and industry activity including proposed tender dates for new contracts and projects.
  7. Identify changes in existing and future customer needs which may impact our service offering.
  8. Record and share feedback from customer and industry engagement. Develop CRM tools.
  9. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  10. Ensuring THREE60 is registered on clients approved supplier lists and managing industry supply chain databases such as Ariba, FPAL etc.
  11. Review new contracts ensuring compliance with THREE60 Energy’s commercial DOA matrix.
  12. Conduct research to identify new markets (including low carbon and renewables) and geographies.
  13. Develop and execute plans to win work in these new markets.
  14. Custodian of marketing material specific to Operations & Maintenance including case studies, brochures, slide packs etc.
  15. Lead efforts to increase THREE60 Operations & Maintenance brand awareness and associated services through approved mass marketing campaigns.
  16. Custodian of Operations & Maintenance social media accounts, manage and publish regular posts to raise brand awareness.
  17. Develop strong relationships with other group management and business development professionals.
  18. Assisting team members in further developing business development skills.

HSE

  1. Take into account all aspects of the “Health and Safety at Work etc. Act (1974)”.
  2. Knowledge of, compliance with and promotion of office, site and contract/project health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  3. Actively promote and comply with the THREE60 Energy Safety Processes and Procedures.
  4. Take into account all relevant procedures, guidance etc. relating to the work, which will ensure compliance with THREE60 Safety Management System.
  5. Ensure all personnel working under their direction are aware of the requirements placed upon them by “Health and Safety at Work etc. Act (1974)” and the THREE60 Safety Management System.
  6. Actively promote and encourage all personnel to care for themselves and others at all times.
  7. Member of Emergency Response Duty Manager rota.

Emergency Response

  1. Form part of the Emergency Response team as required by the Company Emergency Response Procedures.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  1. Ideally degree level recognised qualification.
  2. Training in managerial role relevant to business development (i.e. negotiation, sales, tendering, contracts etc).

Skills & Experience

  1. Strategic targeting of new clients to win new business across different geographies.
  2. Customer Relationship Management with existing clients to maximise business.
  3. Development of detailed technical and commercial proposals to win contracts and projects.
  4. Development of marketing material and techniques to promote and increase brand awareness.
  5. Collating analysing and highlighting key market data to make informed decisions.
  6. Management of the opportunities / bidding register.
  7. Developing long term business strategy and executing as part of the THREE60 Operations management team.
  8. Development and marketing of Technology & Digital solutions.
  9. Financial and Commercial management of a business.
  10. Significant experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industries, including decommissioning.
  11. Experience in markets associated with energy transition.
